We are the first to admit that we cannot do it all. We never lack on effort, but sometimes additional hands are needed to make it good for the people. This is why we are very lucky to the continuous support our sponsors had been pouring to us. And we need your help too!
Lake County Local Assistance Center is accepting donations in monetary terms. We use the money we collect in the rehabilitation projects we do after fire rescue. A portion also goes to some of the foundations that assist with the fire recovery efforts.
We highly discourage donations in cash being sent via mail. Instead, we highly encourage people to send checks instead under the name of the company. You can also send it online through the company accounts, or send it straight to our partner organizations, or ever just drop it off at any of our branch locations around the country. Be our partner in helping our community by donating.
We are very grateful for all the donations in kind being dropped off at our office every now and then. Such donations include old and new clothes, canned goods, bottled water, medicines, and even beddings. Your donations are important in making the lives of fire survivors more comfortable especially to those who need to seek temporary shelter to some of our evacuation centers.
Do not worry about those goods suffering from spoilage. We ensure that your generosity goes to the hand of the right people. Even if there is no need for us to consume it for the meantime, we distribute it to other shelters to benefit those who are in need. One way or another, your donations still make a difference to a lot of people. We make sure of that.
